Default O2 sensor adapter kit

Need advice anyone use the O2 sensor adapter kit from Drag Specialties from 18mm bung to 12mm bung and get good results. I have a friend selling me his Vance and Hines true duals from his 2009 street glide at a very good price but my Street glide is 2012. Appreciate the input.

the 18mm bungs are at the heads and are not a heated o2 sensor because of their location in proximity to the head

the 12mm bungs are down low and are heated.

my suggestion is get a set of 18mm plugs and plug the 18mm bungs, buy you a set of 12mm bungs and have them welded in properly and in the correct location. Depth of the sensor tip is CRUCIAL to your bike running properly.

I have no real knowledge. But I do understand, while not ideal, the adapters work fine except for the wires being short? I think some kits come with extensions too? The reason for the heated o2s is to warm them up and keep them hot. They both work the same, once warm/hot. But good muffler shop can add the bungs for around $50.

my concern is more with the depth with those adapters than anything. the tips of the o2 sensors need to be 3/8" into the exhaust flow for accurate readings.
