Default Heat Demon's and Chubby Bars

Trying to install Heat Demon's in my Wild One Chubby 515 10" mini ape bars and found the ID too narrow to fit with the TBW. Heat Demon have a new TBW heater designed to fit any handlebar with H-D throttle by wire. Any one have any success with this product? My bars are completely installed with internal wiring so don't want to pull everything out and have the throttle side bored out to fit the Demon's and then start over again!

I just installed the new TBW Heat Demon right side piece. Super easy - stick it to the bar under the grip. Heats up just the same as the internal left side unit.

Iused the heat demons and regret it every day. They are junk. I have a thread started in this section. You can gethte details in there. Now they have decided to get hot as hell as soon as the ignition is on. Cant get them to shut off. Will be un-hooking them tonight and removing them when i have time

I just installed a right side switch set of Heat Demons on WO518 1.5 inch bars. The Heat Demon switch is 1/8 inch wider than the stock clamp. If you are installing the switch on the clutch side no problems. If you are installing the switch on the TBW side the switch because it is 1/8 wider will hold the grip off the TBW just enough the grip will not fully engage the TBW. I used a Dremel tool to open up the front of the switch so it would slide over the 1.5 bars. I destroyed my first TBW pad because I did not open the grip up some. I took my Dremel and while my wife held the TBW wires out of the way I sanded down the opening a little. Using my temp sensor gun my right grip heats to 98 degrees. My left to 104 degrees. I am also using grips with are very thick.

If installing them on stock H-D bars all will fit without modifications. Heat Demon CS was also very helpful when called.
