Default monkey bagger bars and heat demons?

Hey all, hoping to get my bars soon, seems like I have been waiting for months for them, but here is the deal, I want to internally wire them, I also want to add the heat demons heated grips, anyone done this?

I ordered the 12in bars and they are going on my Street Glide (08) pictured below.... thanks!

Hey Jake, I'm trying to find out if the heat demons wires will fit in the bars along with with all the other wires? Or if they will fit with the diameter of the bars... someone with these bars has to have had this done..... I would hope... but thanks for that find Jake....

I know that the heat demons will not fit with the FBW(electronic) in Wild One bars. The inside diameter is too small. Drilling out the bar is an option, but I didn't want to go there. I would find out what the inside diameter of the Monkey Bars is and, then, call the company that makes heat demons.

I am trying to think of the best way to describe this. (been a very long day) I don't know if the HD are made for different diameter of bars? But then they (dealer) tried to install them on my bars (left side) they had to slide the hand controls out. I reallt wanted the HD but there was no way I could live with the way it looked. Best way I know how to describe it is a gap. You may be able to try to trim the HD down, but I didnt want to take the chance. I wish I could describe this better for you.

Hey Eric, your right, you lost me.... can you try it again? Or shoot me a pm... I called Zanottis today looking for my Yaffe Bars, and they have again changed the release date on these... I ordered them mid January and they were originally back ordered til mid Feb, then end of Feb now mid March. I got fed up and called yaffe to ask him what the deal was, and he didnt answer so I left a message.. just really tired of waiting, and to be quite honest almost ready to give up... but the weather here still blows, so I will wait a few more weeks before I tell him to shove it, and try something else...

When I wired my monkey bars, I switched to the screaming eagle TBW. That one does NOT have a plug in the middle of the wire. I think as long as you use the screaming eagle version, you will have room for the extra wires. Definitely will not fit if you try it with the TBW plug stuffed in the throttle side also. Good luck. I have installed lots of bars and ran wires internally, but this is the toughest set to date.

The money bars are comfortable. If you really want them, I would wait.

The diameter of the MB there the heat demons goes is too large. Basically it doesnt fit.
