I just plonked on a C&C solo. I bought it with the mindset that it won't be comfy but it'll put me on the bike where I wanted to ride and it'll look cool. Well it sits me down and back a ton, (6'1"), just what I asked for them to do. It looks absolutely stellar, they used two different vinyl patterns and stitched the flames with silver that comes close to my pin stripe color. As far a comfort, I am squirming after 45 minutes with incredible baboon bum and burn. It is horrible, but it is a bar hopper saddle, nothing more, nothing less and if you think you're going across the country on one, better reserve a room in emerg for a new set of cheeks.
I have a fitment issue. I push it forwards until it is crammed up against the tank and the eyelet doesn't really match up with their supplied bracket. Sent them a mail a couple of days ago and still waiting on what they say.

C&C here as well. Went from the HD Brawler which is basically a board with some leather on it. That sucker sets you down about 2" and back easily 2-3".

The C&C is back 1 and down 1. Bought one for my wife's Road King. I liked it so much I ordered one for myself. Now have 2 other buddies that have them also.

Get the quick detach backrest. Fantastic.

I'm right there with you. I can't afford to make a $500 mistake on a seat. Right now I'm leaning towards C&C. I have only contacted them once by email because their website says they only do seats up to '12s... got a prompt reply from Dave who assured me they can do 14's. Good customer service is a lot more important to me than a fancy website.

I'm thinking leather would be a lot more comfortable.

In retrospect I should've gone with leather and gel since I'm basically sitting on a thin piece of vinyl on a plastic shell. Still haven't heard from them as to why it doesn't line up with the rear mount.

Seats are different for everyone but from my experience with a C&C solo I disagree.
I have rode cross country on mine, including a 24 hour ride from Sturgis and it was very comfortable, and mine is vinyl not leather.
We all have different shapes but the C&C works great for mine.

Compared C&C and Corbin. Went with Corbin. Leather or vinyl? I don't wear vinyl shoes. I went with all leather and so much more comfortable than vinyl.

I have a Danny Gray Weekday Solo + Gel

I like it, leather seating area, vinyl sides. looks great. is comfortable enough. I rode from WPB to leesburg and was pretty comfy... towards the end I was squirming a little. But its called the weekday for a reason. moves you back and down a ton too... dont feel like Im sitting on the tank anymore.

I am going to buy a 2 up touring seat .... jsut havent decided which. I actually had a Mustang 2 up regal when I bought the bike.. comfy yes but felt like I was sitting on the gas tank too much.
