I have a question, what would you guys say is the acceptable amount of brake drag, 1 with new brake pads, and 2 with broke in pads.
As part of a new wheel project I put the new pads on but had to put the old wheel and rotors back on. After riding it some and pumping back up the front brakes I only have about a 1/4 of free wheel spin when trying to give the wheel and spin by hand (and yes that is with the bike on the lift). It had more then that with the old worn pads before.
Right now I just went back to stock, but went ahead and left the new pads in the calipers when I decided to back off on the wheel change for a little bit, I have a trip planned for this weekend. I was trying to put a 2012 Street Glide Wheel and 5 star 11.5 polished rotors from KC-INT.

What your opinion?
Seem about right to me. My bike's on the stand right now and with a normal effort to spin the front wheel it's about 1/4 turn. Original pads with about 16k on them.
