Have had my Xieds on my '08 for 65k miles....here is what I have noticed.
Better throttle response, less heat coming from exhaust, no knocking or pinging, spark plugs are not discolored, mpg is between 46 and 48 depending on riding 2-up or solo.
Maybe they don't work for some and others are non-believers.....For less than $100 and 5 minutes for installation, I'm happy and satisfied with them.

they do work. i have em. yes a tuner will work better but for 50 bucks used online it adds just enough fuel to stop the pinging. dosnt add hp though just alittle better throttle response. your wallet dictates
