wish i was going. i have been to alot since i was riding on the back of my dads bike. moved to san diego so this is the first year i wont be attending.
I will be there as well. We will be meeting at Whitt's HD in Manassas, VA at 7:00 for a 8:00 sharp departure. State Police escort to the Pentagon parking lot for staging before the ride. I live local, and this will be my first ride to Rolling Thunder. I can't wait.

For any of you all not from the area and are here for a few days. Here's some riding spots and all are about an hour from the D.C. area.
1. Antietam Battlefield and it's surrounding area. Very nice riding.
2. Not far from Antietam is Harpers Ferry W.V. Great scenery.
3. Gettysburg is just up 15 North
And F.Y.I. on Friday it is like traffic Hell on any of highway in the whole area after 2 P.M.
