so i'll be the one to ask the dumb question.... is the light on after you start? and does it go away when you start riding? or does it pop on intermittently?
if only on when you start. thats normal. but for some reason, a lot of folks don't notice it until after they do something to their ride (like change a tire or brake pads), then all of a sudden, they notice this warning light and think they've screwed something up....

I'm familiar that it's on till you go over 3mph. It's on constantly now. I checked the fuse and it was corroded. I cleaned it and put it back in and checked for broken, kinked wires etc. and saw nothing. Still haven't had a chance to ride it. I guess i'll find out thursday on my way to americade if the fuse was the culprit.
just checking. no mention of that in your op and there have been a bunch of posts lately by guys who didn't notice it before they did something, but then now they do. and they didn't know that it went out.....
