ABS Light is staying on.
I noticed today my ABS light is staying on. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if so what was the cause. I have a 2010 Ultra with 12,600 miles. Last time the brakes were touched was when the brake switch recall was done by the dealer. I called today for an appointment but can't get in for a week. I leave on a cross country trip a couple days after my appointment so I hope there isn't a problem.

First step for any warning light... Check for codes!
Also, when you say staying on, do you mean on while riding down the road? The normal function of the light is to stay on at start up until you get some vehicle speed.

I just got that problem fixed on my 10 Ultra. The dealer told me the crimps that were on the wiring harness going to the front sensor were bad. It took the tech a while to find it. I wish I would have been a little more persistent in trouble shooting, as it cost me $50, my ESP deductible.

Front wheel sensor
Had the same problem last week (2010 FLHTK) It was the front wheel sensor. Light came on same as yours, right after getting the rear brake switch recall work performed. Take it out on the road and check the ABS function on the brakes. Mine still work properly but the light stayed on.
Here is the code: DTC: C1032
FAULT CONDITION: Front wheel speed sensor circuit open or shorted
The work ticket also stated the connectors at the steering head were replaced.
Extended warranty picked up the tab after the co-pay

Same here I'm having the problem now and hooked an Ohm meter to the connector and watched the meter jump around as I push/pull on the wires. I thought I had it solved when I cut the ziptie that held the connector in place off about 15k miles ago but it was doing it on and off for 40k miles, after I cut the zip tie it didn't do it again till now, I guess the wire had already been stressed and broke. Why there was a ziptie holding it there to begin with is just plain dumb.
