Matazu Check in thread...
That comes to $139... and it appears to bolt right to the two bolts under the slotted seat.
The Harley mounting bracket costs something like $245, without the backrest itself. I'll probably take this thing off when I get home (see comment below), so a cheaper option seems smart. Anyone got any experience with this thing? I realize it won't be as adjustable at the Harley bracket, which I should have taken off the old bike before we traded it in.
That was an 03' Ultra Classic... and I think it gave me lazy abs. I've had a lot of back and hip probs over the last several years, and now my physical therapist and also my performance in yoga class tells me I have very weak lower abdominal muscles, and lots of related tightness in hips all way up to neck.
When time for new bike I decided to try without it.... and it IS good abdominal exercise... If I stick my butt out and roll my shoulders back I can extend our rides beyond 45 minutes. Now I'm good for 1.5 hours or so.. then have to get off and do yoga... dont' laugh.. it helps. As does ibuprofen.
I am gradually getting stronger down there. But I don't want to push it on longer driving days a long way from home.
