Did a search on engine noises on a bagger, but came up short.
Anyone else with a '13 bagger experience weird tweeting noises coming from the engine bay area or fairing? I'm assuming the weird noises are amplified by the large batwing fairing and windscreen.
Anyone else notice this? I've owned numerous baggers, but for some reason, this bike makes more weird noises than all of my other bikes.
Friend of mine had a problem like that. it was driving him nuts and took months to track down. ended up being the baffle inside his right slip-on.

check the area where the two inner fairing pieces come together. I've noticed a chirping coming from there when the lower piece isn't 'tucked in' quite like it should be.
Check your rubber muffler mounts. If your mufflers are twisted just a bit or if the rubber has ben worn they will make a tweet / squeaking sound too. They are Harley part number 65724-85 and are less than $3 each. You might also check the upper mount of your engine guard. If it becomes loose it too will squeak.

Yep, exact same thing on mine. Piece that houses switches and ignition was rubbing against the bottom of the inner fairing on the right side and driving me nuts (like I need any help getting there). I re-adjusted it and also put a piece of very thin felt on it where it meets the inner fairing, you can't see the felt, and the problem was solved.
To test this, when you hear the noise, put pressure on the inner fairing or try to push on the seam where the two pieces meet.
