Has anyone had any experience with ***** Shiny's chrome rim exchange? Have been looking for a limited set of knuckles but they are too expensive. This seems like a good alternative.
Looked into him for chrome or black legs for a 2014 SGS. His exchange prices are as much as an outright set with no exchange on eBay. Found that a little odd.

You get what you pay for. His chrome is good, I've been to his place. I have seen his wheels, fork legs and brake calipers. Picked up a set of calipers for a buddy. I'd buy from him again for sure.
All the chrome looks better than OEM Harley chrome. They take their time to polish everything first.

I have a set of his calipers on my bike. They are gorgeous. If you want high quality it is not always inexpensive and with a surface such as chrome it makes more sense to get from someone who knows what they are doing and charges a little more than to get the cheapest price and end up with flaking chrome.
Joe is a good guy to work with and a straight shooter. I have no problem paying a little more to support him.
i can't say about the wheels, but i know on the fork legs, he will clean the lowers up so you get a nice consistent surface all the way around. harley doesn't. take a look at the backside of your chromed harley fork lowers. they are ugly. i suspect he does the same with wheels, ie cleaning up any 'bad' spots, etc.
