Default Rear antenna cable?

I have the fairing mounted antenna and I have my bike on the stand installing Yaffee MMB. From the looks of it the original antenna cable it runs from the rear all the way up under the tank to the fairing. I want to remove it completely but will this require to remove the tank (I tink it will) and is there any reason I'll need this any other time? I could just zip tie it up but if I'll never need it I would rather just get rid if it while I have my bike in the state that it's in right now. Thanks..

Only reason I can think of keeping it is if got Tour Pack. I have a antenna Y-cable coming off my head unit with in a hidden in fairing antenna on one side and the attenna cable under seat on other side. When I run my Tour Pack use that cable for connecting to Tour Pack antenna which gets better reception.

Good point! I'll just zip-tie it up out of the way for "just in case". I just don't like extra cables if they are not needed. I don't ever plan on getting rid of this bike but who knows.. Thanks!
