I have a 2014 Limited with the HD Reduced Reach Bars. I like them, but, I would like bars that are 2 or 3 inches closer. I've tried rotating the bars down but I don't like the hand position that leaves me with. I like the bars pushed back towards the fairing. I want to get similar bars that give the reduced reach I need.
If anyone can suggest bars that would do this for me, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
Maybe some shorter mini-ape type bars rotated toward you? This might ensure you get the reach you want with out having your hands too low, which is probably what's happening with rotating the stock bars toward you. Sorry that's all I got!
I have mentioned them many times, most people complain about the price, but as you found out, it can get expensive installing the wrong bars a couple times.
PS, free installation done in Sturgis. Getting a set for the wife this year.
I say try using a drop-seat kit to help with our reach issues. My 5'2" daughter can flat-foot my FLHP, and if you use something like heritage bars laid back a bit, you'd be pretty set.
