Ive heard great things about Star Tron. After reading several 3rd party tech articles I started using it for fuel maintenance, cleaning and storage. No more sta-bil is going in my bike. For me the size is much more convienent than sea foam. Star Tron is highly reccomended by BMW techs who cuss their fuel systems
I use 4 oz's of Chevron Techron system cleaner about every 4 tank fills. This stuff works. Keeps carbon from the combustion chamber and eliminates pinging.
I am also a loyal user of Startron. I have used in my boat engines for years and started using it in the motorcycles after having a carb foul up from a single tank of bad E-10. Only need a splash and a $10 bottle lasts a long time.
Nice Star Tron feedback! Thanks, fwiw, we get some great stories from techs when we are at V Twin Expo or on the Drag Specialties ride. The Blue Juice sounds too good to be true, but it really does work. If you meet me anywhere, hit me up for a sample and you can decide for yourself. We'll be packing it when we do Baja in November.
Over the Winter I use Seafoam, one ounce to the gallon, or Marvel Mystery Oil, two ounces to a tank full.
During the long riding season here in 'Bama, I might treat a tank of fuel a time or two.
The big deal is to do it when you suspect it will sit a while.
I do the Seafoam mix in all my small air cooled motors that are not used frequently.
