We used them on our police cars, and don't ever remember anyone hitting a deer, I have them on my pick up, no close calls either. My cage doesn't have them, and I have had 2 real close calls. I think maybe its a good idea. What can it hurt. IMO

Yeah ... like ride bells prevent breakdowns and accidents.

Riding bells come from early years of Sturgis When you paid to see the races you got a bell that show youpaid. Bells don't and wont keep you save only the rider can kept himself safe. Also, if anybody has an original bell from sturgis, there Worth a lot.

A friend had a set for one season,after repairing the front of his Jeep he took them off.
