Just wanted to share how much I love this new seat from C&C.
Customer service with these guys is top notch.
From beginning to end they want you to get exactly what you are looking for and will help you every step of the way.
I felt I did have to be a bit patient with them as they are a small business (kind of) and cannot respond to every single question or customer as fast as some of the larger shops around. Be prepared to make a phone call as the website does leave something to be desired. Rest assured patience is truly a virtue in this instance.
Now, getting from finalizing my order after about a week of them helping me decide what was best for me, to actually receiving the seat was no more than about 5-7 business days. In my book thats great considering they are on the west coast and I am on the east coast.
Arrival:
Packaging was perfect, seat was very well protected by their packaging and handled well by ups. The seat itself came out of the box looking amazing.
Install was also a breeze with the included bracket, as was the backrest.
The seat looks beautiful, and sits me down a bit lower and back (as advertised).
I took it out for a few hours and am absolutely in love with the performance of the seat.
I want one so bad it is on the list Had the solo and loved it but kept sliding off the bike LOL went with a Badlander for now I want the backrest for sure had one on the sundowner and loved it but the seat does not look that great on my bike. did you get the gel insert?
And that seat gets better!!!!!! Mine was about a 9 until I hit about 2500 miles and it became a 10!!!! I can barely ride without the backrest tho----I slide to the back of the seat on accelaration---looks cool without the backrest, but I normally keep it on.

I feel you on the sliding sensation... however, I knew getting into this that my stock handlebars keep me reaching away from the seat. I know for sure that with at least 10-12" or higher bars I will be able to sit back INTO the seat.
Even now I get the sensation your talking about but I still feel secure in the seat.
I did not get the gel insert; I was worried about the heat issue, and the fact that they say the leather will never really STICK to the gel. (figured it might cause some wear issues).
Very nice!!!
I ordered a solo from C&C today for my 06 FLHRI in black Mercedes Leather.
Now I must decide on bars and whether or not I need to do something with the footboards, brake pedal and shifter.
I am 5' 11" with 33 inch inseam and 33 inch sleave.
Any thoughts on bars?
Hey guys I have a questions for all of you. I'm considering a C&C solo, I'm 6'1" with a 33 inseem and long arms, I've put the 1"forward floorpans on. I feel like I need to go back on my stock 14' streetglide seat (Same as the 2010 up seat), Now the question is does the C&C solo going to be fine or should I do the 1" back modification. Also I like the width of my stock seat 15" Do you guys prefer the narrow or the wide.
