I kinda thinking no matter what seat or pad or this or that you have, sitting on a motorcycle your more confined to one position with not much room for change. So your always going to experience some level of discomfort. I have about a two hour window before I need a stretch with my stock 13 Heritage seat.
I bought the Airhawk 2 a couple weeks ago. Didn't do much for me. If you want to try it,I'll sell it for $65.00 shipped. This is the 14"x14" medium size,seat-shaped Air hawk. [For rider only] You could ride for a while, then put it under your wife, and see if it helps you.
Cost me 89.95,used it for about 3 hours.

I absolutely love my Airhawk "R" it's like riding on air! My boney *** would get sore after an hour or so, not no more! I'll be using my Airhawk on long rides in the cage also. The airhawk 2 was a cheaper model, I prefer the best when possible.
I have both. The R is great for the tailbone and the boys. It took me a couple weeks just to get the air pressure adjusted just right. My wife has the standard one and she wishes she had the R for the tailbone relief. For me, itis the R model all the way over the other ones.
