If you're talking about for the tourpack lights, I've been using the Harley unit for 3 years now without issues. I have Custom Dynamics led inserts. Works great.

I already had the RBT module from Harley that I took out of my 05. It works fine with the CD stuff. There are many options and some with strobe and/or flash feature. I also added the turn signal features to the tourpack including side markers.
Call CD...they'll recommend the part, place the order and walk you through the install. Pretty much p-n-p and tapping into a few wires. So easy, a monkey's monkey can do it...

With the Harley kit you change out the sockets and go to dual filament bulbs. For the most part it's plug and play. It's been a while so I don't recall the particulars. But, if it sucked, I would remember it - like when I had to tear the whole front end apart to install the ridiculous Harley led blinkers. Now THAT I remember.
After the Harley wiring is installed you ditch the bulbs for the CD pods. Those are a little tricky in that they glue in place from the inside. Still, not bad. You'll need a load equalizer. I used the CD unit which has served me well for a year now. It plugs in under the seat.
