Any suggestions on brands of handle bars for my 06 Road Glide. Would like a few inches more pull back and a few inches more rise than stock. Also should the stock bars hit the tank console when turned tight in both directions. I haven't moved them from the location they were in at dealer delivery. Thanks for your help. [sm=smiley16.gif]

As many people will tell you, you can put Wide Glide or Heritage bars on without changing cable or wiring. I just put a set of Wide Glide bars on my bike last night (not in sig pic yet). I think I'm really going to like them, I'm really happy the way they look and feel.
There is a pic somewhere of wild ones 517's. on a silver RG.they appear to pull back a bit and are a liitle taller. The hand angle is also swept back a little more instead of being straight accross like dragbars. I think I will be adding these to my roadglide when I find the best price
running heritage bars, no cable changes, work great for me.
Gunrunner,
Couple questions if possible?
Do you have a part # for the HC bars?
How would you describe them compared to stock? IE: 1" taller, 2" farther back, same wrist position?
Any cable rerouting or install tricks or tips?
I have WG bars on mine too... THey are MUCH better than stock and I like them better than Heritage, but it really personal preference.
I am considering a set of new KromeWerks 300504 bars. Check them out here: http://www.khromewerks.com/handlebars.cfm, down at the bottom of hte page... THey do require a new clutch cable, but that's it...
