Default Losing the "recliner" look - Rear seat back cushion.

Just paid off the 08 Ultra, but the Mrs. is no longer interested in riding...never was much anyway. Rather than trade in for a Street Glide, I'm starting to strip the bike down a bit for my taste.

I removed the lowers a few years ago and now I'm considering removing the tour pack, but I found that by just removing the big old ugly lounger arm and back rest, the bike looks better already. A little less "geezer glide" if you will.

Problem is, I now have six hole in the tour pack to fill or cover. The top two need support, so I threw a couple of bolts to support the "lid limiter". Now I'm looking for ideas on what anyone has done in a similar strip down situation.

If there was a smaller back pad available, that would cover the middle (anyone know a source?). The four remaining holes could be covered with a few decorative license plate blots...like skulls or something similar.

Any ideas are welcomed.

Default Tour Pack Seat Pad

I'm thinking something like this would work if it were 11" x 4.5" and custom made for that little center pocket in the 08 tour pack.

Like to see something made to fit this pack before I have to cobble something.

Default Guess I finally found the solution....

http://www.revvedupmotorsports.com/H...%20Pads&pos=14

now I gotta find it at a better price....

Amazon.com: Smooth Razor-Pak Backrest Pad for Harley Davidson Tour Pack Backrest: Automotive Amazon.com: Smooth Razor-Pak Backrest Pad for Harley Davidson Tour Pack Backrest: Automotive
$144 - free shipping

Here's another, but just need the back rest - this is the type of backrest I was searching for... (even though it's on a chopped pack)

in the end, it will probably wind up being this > http://www.harley-davidson.com/store...89898a--1#tabs

If you know of any similar - please post a reply. Thanks!
