Default Can't keep my cap on

I've been a ball cap wearer for forever. For the life of me, I can't keep a cap on while going down the road on my EGC. In town is not an issue, but at highway speed I have to take it off. What's the secret?

I cut my windscreen so that the wind hits right where my hairline used to be.
( cut the bottom, hidden edge with a rotozip, dremel or jigsaw)

i wear a ball cap to about 70~75, shape of the visor pretty important

If I wear a beanie, I'll use an elastic hair band to go around it. Maybe they call it a hair tie...like a head band. I now see I don't know what they call it. Go down the aisle where they sell hair clips and stuff.

Anyway, It works good for me, maybe that'll work on the ball cap too.

Wink Mesh back, a little sweat.

I've been riding my chopper with a gimme cap for 18 yrs. The trick is a mesh back, solid hats blow off easily. A bead of sweat helps it stick up to 70 mph with no windshield. No lack of sweat here in Texas. Tilt it down so it doesn't catch the wind. Works for me!
