Default What fluids in primary and tranny?
I was wondering if amsoil super shift racing trans fluid would be ok for the primary in an 08 street glide and spectra speed 6 in the tranny? Any thoughts from anyone that might have tried it?

mobil v-twin or harley stuff in primary and redline in trans

I run royal purple max cycle 20/50. I can honestly say it shifts alot smoother than the harley syn-3. Amsoil is also a great choice

i run all amsoil in my bikes. in tranny i go w/ severe gear 75-140, love the differnce.

I use Amsoil 20/50 in all three holes and have never had any problems. Been using it since 2004.

Spectra Speed6 in the tranny. Stuff is great. I just use the harley formula + in the primary, and amsoil 20-50 in the motor.

Amsoil in all 3 holes; SAE60 in motor...20/50 in primary and 75/140 in tranny
They might be a bit heavy on the start but once the engine gets hot, they are great.
It works for me.
