2007 Street Glide
Good day to all,
Since it is the first time I own a Harley (2007 FLHX) I would really appreciate if anynone can help me with the following:
Engine problems: I have read that it is better to replace some engine HD parts with other brands in order to avoid future problems (Tensioner, primary, gaskets, etc.) .
Which parts should I change and what brand is preferable?
Heat problems: I have already ordered an oil cooler (Jagg) and saddle heat deflectors however the exhaust heat (right side) will not be reduced, if I will order the big shots duals vance and hines will this heat problem be solved or not??
Wheels: I am thinking to replace the stock with a 19inch fwd and a 16 inch rear (same size as stock for the rear) - any advise relatively to the brand and from where to purchase them? (no abs)
Brake calipers: Will I feel any big difference if a set of brembo brake calipers from the 2008 model will be installed or the current ones are ok?
Fenders: From where can I purchase the extended side covers and stretch gas tank ???
Suspension: I believe that I have already rectified this since I have changed the rear with a set of ohlins and front springs with progressive.
Comfort 2up: Ordered a saddlemen explorer and a sissy bar - hope she will appreciate it....
Since I am living at Greece I really don't care from which state the shops are located (international shipping is the important matter), however in case it is not allowed to mention in the post the links of the stores, you may sent me the info to my profile.
