Hey people Ive got an 03 Ultra that I need to replace the windshield. Nead some ideas as what to do, my line of sight is split by the top of the original........ Thanx Joel
I cut the windshield down myself and it came out as good (or better, IMO) as the OEM job. Its a pretty straight-forward, simple process. I assume you can do a search and find some directions, but if you can't find anything, I'd be happy to give you a step-by-step.
I just ordered a Tulsa Enterprises Tall 15 1/2" windshield for HD's with a 2004 Goldwing air vent built into it. Very neat product. Will let you know how I like it. Check it out at www.tulsaenterprises.com
This is my windsheild of choice, the Cee Bailey's SSC. I am 5'8" and use a 12" SSC which is equal to a stock 9". I look over it by about 1.5-2" with no wind issues.
Lemme add another vote fer the Tulsa! Ah installed it the first week ah had the bike. You will NOT find a better optical quality windshield than what they make - period. Allen Smith is the owner - a VERY stand-up guy, and one we consider a friend. Ah went with the tallest, tinted w/vent.
It doesn't block the rain if that is what you are asking. Because I look over it I get rain in the face. I wear a 3/4 helmet with a flip down clear sheild that I use only when it does rain. That said, I am only looking thru one rain spattered "sheild" instead of two.
