Default Questions about installing Big City Thunder Monster Buffles

I have a 2010 SG with 4" RH true dual, PM intake and PCV tuner already. I'm looking at removing my RH stock baffles to install a set of BCT Monster baffles and I have a few questions.

1. Will I need to adjust any settings in my map after install and if so what needs to be changed? Or will I need to take it to the dealer for a full Dyno tune?
2. Will I have any performence issues after install? I have read that some people had to remove them because their bike ran like crap afterwards.
3. I'm assuming that my stock RH baffles are located at the very end of the mufflers and i would need to remove the end caps to remove them. What holds them in place and what is involved with the removeal?
4. Am I correct that I would need to remove the mufflers and then install the BCT into the end of the header pipe and then reinstall the mufflers?

Thanks
Rick

What's the RH true dual? Road-house? What year and model is your bike?

Switching from RH baffles to BCT shouldn't effect your tune. The performance won't be much different either. The people that had that issue were running pipes like the big radius and ground pounders, very short pipes! The BCT have to be atleast 6" from the end to do anything. Take your end caps off and wiggle the baffle side to side while pulling on it and it should come out. Yes you do have to put the BCT baffles in the headpipe just before the mufflers.

If you don't "broomstick" run a tube clean through your can, the sound will probably be low and mellow.

I have BCTM headpipe baffles, and gutted my S.E. cans, saving a couple of inches of the front and rear of clear round pipe and spliced in a piece of 1-3/4" exhaust tube from my local NAPA store. Get some pipe couplers and cut the tube to length & have it all welded together.

Stick that in your can and you will be pleasantly surprised at the sound; nice note, good and throaty.
Not too loud when riding if your tips are at the end of your saddlebags, all the "noise" is behind you.
Sound great, runs great. And relatively inexpensive for a set of pipes nobody else will have.
