Default Dunlop E3 sizes for 2002 needed

Guys, I read the archives and pretty much sounds like the MU90 will work for my 2002. Just wanted to make sure.

I think you mean MT90, which corresponds to 130/90. You may be able to squeeze in an MU85 in the rear, which is a little wider at 140/85, also has a higher load rating, which is handy if you ride 2-up a lot.

I have the MT90 on the front. The MU has the higher load rating for the rear. I currently have an MU85 on the back now. From what I've read reading the archives. It sounds like the MU85 and MU90 are pretty close in size. Don't remember exactly.

I think my bike came with an MU85 stock?

My older bike came with MT both ends. I'm not sure exactly when the MU85 was introduced, but it is indeed likely your bike had that size from new. I gave the sizes above (in millimeters!) which correspond to approx 5" and 5.5".

With slight modification this can be ran on an 01 to 07. Wider tire = longer tread life, more ground contact and more correct actual speed (according to my Zumo 660's. Previour years I presume as well but my oldest bike is an 01 Road King and that is what I have this size on.

Guys I think my bike original had a 130 out back. The MU85 that was on it, did rub when backing up. Figured this out when I went to remove it. Heard the rub since I got the bike a few months back. I replaced it with another MU85. I'll be adding a Pingle spacer when I swap out wheels here shortly.

Thanks for the help!

I had/have the same issue but as you said, only when rolling back. Bigger is better.
