I decided to clean up my 9 year old Road King windshield which has seen better days. I used an aluminum polish called Bling Master, some Semichrome, a buffing wheel that fits on a drill and some old rags. The before and after pictures don’t do the job justice. Even though you can’t tell, the metal had a lot of scratches and was a mess. After the polish it shines like chrome. There are still a few scratches that didn’t buff out but they probably would have if I used a more abrasive polish. Give it a shot on your windshield if its a little beat up. It does take a while but it’s worth it in my opinion.

 

Good job. Can definitely see the difference. I just did the same thing to my wheels. Almost chrome like, major difference over stock aluminum look.
