is this the same FeLi technology that Shorai uses? my understanding is they need to be warmed to work well at really cold temps. if you live in florida, or never ride all winter it may not be an issue...

I almost bought one but chickened out and got the super crank for $99. It sounds good at only 4lbs and a long life expectancy but could not make myself spend the $.
Yep. Bought one at a motorcycle show in NOVEMBER for my EG. So far so good. No issues. Can't tell the difference at all, good or bad. You can not use a desulfating battery charger. I use the small battery tender one (750 ma). When you get the battery it only weighs three pounds. Seems like a toy. One nice thing is it has 4 terminals excellent for all of those accessories!
Saw them yesterday in Laconia, very, very impressive. Seller is apucyclegear.com
has a great show price special. I think they had a 460 cca battery on sale for
$249. Very cool batteries but mine is working just fine... knock on wood..!
I eye-balled these at Laconia.....Price kinda scared me.
I did like the 2 pos 2 neg terminals, and the light weight.
Last week I installed the BigCrank, so not in the market for a new one.
Batteries Plus sells them but the owner said he would not recommend one for a motorcycle. Can't, off the top of my head, remember why,but at the time he made sense. I suggest a little more research before you spend that kind of money. Just my 2 cents.
I bought a Shorai lithium battery about 8 months ago. Talked to a guy in customer service. He said a charger wasn't necessary, however they are available. As someone stated earlier, you can't use desulfating charger.
I didn't get the charger , no problems bike starts up. Not cold where I live.
Ive bought a shorai and when one of my bikes need a battery i will get a shorai again. they did say if i wanted to a battery tender would be ok on it but ive let a bike sit for 8 month and it started right up.
