Anyone add these to their 4.5" High Output slipons? What're your thoughts?
My interest is more about the affect it had on backpressure and the differences that you might have seen on power output on the low end. I have a 2012 RG with a 103", and I chose these slipons for looks and sound, and feel like I could have made a better choice for torque. I am definitely losing torque potential, and am looking for a low cost solution to that if it's at all possible, thus I'm considering these. A $60.00 solution is a whole lot cheaper than a new set of slipons.
Would like to hear those of you that have tried them for whatever reason, and how it effected your torque output.
I put these on my wife's 08 street glide and I think it greatly improved the torque. She bought the bike with Freedom Performance Duals and slip ons and it sounded like crap and had no torque. I got a deal on a used set of the High Outputs and tried them on her bike. Without the baffles it sounded nice and deep and the bike ran a little better. She thought it was too loud so I put the baffles in. Now the sound is reduced quite a bit but still sounds nice. The torque is much improved. I have tried several maps for her PC3 and could never get one that helped with the Freedom Duals. She is happier now so I am as well. As a comparison I am running Vance and Hines Power Duals and Monster Rounds on my 2010 and it is a lot louder than the wife's bike.
