I have a local shop that does the Header Pipe cat removal thing . They gave me a price to install a pipe with cat remove for $100 and my old pipe .
Sounds like an ok deal it is a good shop and I do trust them . Would you do this ?? If you have already done this does it help HEAT- SOUND and how the bike runs .
For $100 it sounds like a great deal. People have been paying $175 on eBay and having to swap the pipes themselves. If you have stock mufflers a decatted header will give slightly more sound but very little.
Yes they will be doing the change and I will give them my Header Pipe and $100 Bucks . I am running CFR Mufflers now and like the sound so that is not a big deal .
I just put the Mufflers on today and getting a new front tire next and the catless header pipe . I am having a Michelin Commander 2 put on the front also .
just bought a de-catted head pipe for $125 delivered---weld polished inside and out--buddy will install for me(pay in food)---and will have the pipe to sell or keep--would jump on a the 100buck deal myself http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...d=982840253004
