I've got those exact pipes. Have you tried adjusting the baffles to the torque setting? It will restrict the flow, give you better low end power and quiet them down.
Also, you can pull the baffles out and wrap them in fiberglass matting to soften them a bit. It took me months to get used to my hookers, but I like the unique look and sound they give
