hardly a day goes by they don't touch down at least once. usually accomplish that with the right turn out of my driveway... my wife hates it when she's on back - first the scrape, then the scream....

Yep.....Interesting to say the least the first time you do it....Still does not mean I like it...but use to it now...not quite as a big shock when it happens

Doesn't seem to matter how many times I do it, I still about **** my pants. Doubt I'll ever get used to it.

Wait til ya scrape your knee... First bagger I rode (demo rides back around '90) scared me to death when footboard hit with the wife on first easy on-ramp??????????

I keep the floor boards bolts loss so the boards can come up and go down easily. It is exhilarating sparks and all.

You'll get use to it. Next time you see a Cop on a HD, check out the floorboards.

Yep! I've seen boards getting replaced because they become dangerously sharp on the back edge. The mounting arms get a pretty good grinding too :-)

The nice thing about scraping the boards is it tells you you've reached maximum lean. You can hold it there or back off a hair for a bit of breathing room. There might be a little left, but you risk hitting the mounting arms for the board and they don't give. Too much weight on those guys and the rear loses traction like in the video.

Never done it, nor do I have the desire to have the exhilarating experience you guys are speaking of.... I'm perfectly fine without almost crapping myself at my age... lol
