I have a 2011 UC that had to sit about 7 months because of a couple of surgeries i had. Now, when i tried to start it, i got nothing. I took the battery to the dealership and the battery is good. I put it back in and no sound at all. Not sure where to start here before taking to dealership to work on. Thanks in advance.
Had the same problem at Crossing Canada to Michigan, pulled fuse's and bike started fine, don't know why it happened. Never a problem before. Right at Customs before we were pulled in for being different, go figure.
You didn't say if your lights come on or not. I'd really give that battery a second look. If all they did is check the voltage, that can be misleading. Amperage is what is required to turn the starter. It may be that the battery is failing under load.
I pulled the fuses out and check them with the meter. When i turn the ignition on, the lights all come on and when i flip the switch, i hear the pump come on. I have not done the self diagnostic test, never done one before.
