Progressive 444 question
how can you tell how stiff or soft the shock is? I know you turn the cap one wayor the other but where are the reference marks on the shock or the cap so I can be sure both are the same? They come full soft from the factory and I want to stiffen them a bit. I am an idiot...thanks

I back my shocks all the way off, counter clockwise then mark the cap and shock with a yellow grease pencil then turn each shock clockwise one full rotation and line up the marks then ride the bike and adjust as necessary until I am happy with the settings then if you want just wipe off the grease pencil marks or if it's a bagger leave the pencil marks on they are hidden behind the bags anyway.
