Default (Another) detachable tourpack question (SG)

I ordered my 2007 Street Glide with a detachable king tourpak. After a few months (picked up the bike in Nov last year) I decided it was time to take it off until I was going somewhere that I needed it. The pak is plain except for the brakelighted spoiler, so I disconnected the light, and the antenna wire and off it came. The dealer used the relo kit to move the antenna to the back of the pak, so what I'm left with now is a rather large connector on the bikethat I can't plug any antenna into. This may be a dumb question, but since it came this way I obviously didn't install it and you may have figured out by my handle thatmy other bike did not give me any experience in dealing with this sorta thing. So do I have to remove the connector or is there some sort of adapter I can shell out probably at least 50 bucks for? I know I have seen at least a few SG's on here with detachable tourpacks, so someone's gotta know!

Unscrew the big adaptor, loosen the bottom set screw on your antenna and unscrew it from the Tourpak. Screw it onto the threads that the big adaptor was screwed on and tighten the set screw. Your done....

I put my antenna under the fairing, then the only thing youhave to worry about is the connector for the light, and what to do with it when the tour pak is off.

thank you thank you!
i had a sneaking suspicion that was it, but that thing must be on there with red locktight! LOL didn't want to try taking it off unless I was sure.
next time the fairing is off i think i'm going with the invisible antenna. sounds like they work pretty well?

Don't pay a hundred bucks for one of those powered ones. I went to an auto supply store and bought one of those 12" floppy ones for about $15. It's tie strapped horizontally inside the fairing and it works fine.

I bought the Dakota Digital antenna for under the fairing. Works great until I get more than fifty miles from a major city.
