Default gas mileage

I put a stage I kit in my 05 ultra a few months ago. I've experienced a noticeabe drop in gas mileage. Has anyone else experienced this since adding a stage I kit?

I'm getting somewhere between 35-40 on my '94 Ultra.. What did yours go to on your bike??

What are you running for EPM load, pipes, etc? The standard Harley, or different?

What are you getting for MPG after?

I know someone here will be able to answer.. I just know what questions they will ask..

Not sure what you mean by EPM, but I'm running Vance & Hines pipes with a K&N air filter; otherwise the bike is a stock Harley with EFI. I'm now getting around 35MPG on average which sounds about what you're doing. Out of the box, I was averaging around 45MPG.

I'm getting 36mpg with the 95 kit, SE mufflers and 6 speed trany. As soon as my funds get back to where they should be I'll be changing out the exhaust and dynoing it

Nothing is for free in this world. You added pipes, Stage I breather and now you are making a little more horsepower. That extra HP comes with a price...and that is lower gas mileage. I get about 36mpg on my 04 Ultra with Vance and Hines Oval Slip-On's, Stage I breather and Power Commander III usb. It runs great and a little less mileage is ok with me.

Good luck....

On my 05 RK I get about 40 MPG. Usually fill up at 120 miles and it takes 3 gallons.

I have a stage I intake and SE II exhaust.

Driving habits are the culprit in this one I would guess. I can get as little as 35 and as much as 45 with my 98" kit.

I get about 40 to 43 on my 99 RKC with Stage II big bore, K&N, and Vance and Hines Classic Slip ons. I would have to agree with Mac, I don't twist very hard. Every once in a while though, I like to hear my pipes, so I have to pay...
