Congrats on the new ride. Best thing for finding new pipes is going to a bike night and finding the sound you like. You should find quite a selection there. Good luck. JR
First RK I rode was an 08 and the shake on it almost sent me to a heritage softail. I ended up with a 13 RK and am loving it. That idle shake is not as intense. Hope you find ways to get it more to what you want
Welcome to the forum and the undisputed King of Beasts!
I have an '07 FLHR, 55k miles had it about 5 years. The only thing I would want different is how the '09s + have the rear head pipe running under the frame rather than under your leg.
Some common issues: TPS causing erratic idling ($55.00 part) mainly after highway speeds for a while, cracking rear head pipe.
I have gone through two voltage regulators, two starter clutches, about 2-1/2 years on each. Otherwise change the oil, tires, regular maintenance etc.
I wouldn't give mine up for anything; I would just get another one!
