Default Jerky throttle

I have a 2009 Ultra with about 60,000 miles on it. I have never changed compensator or anything else for that matter except stage 1, cams and pipes. My throttle is starting to grab at the handlebar and causes a jerky feel to the hand. It is no big thing but I would like to lube it before my next road trip later this month. I would just pull it lose and grease it if it was like my old Harley's were but with this new type throttle I do not want to mess anything up. Any suggestions would be welcome to smooth out the hand motion.

have a look at the mating gear on the grip- I know that on some krapkin grips, the gear would break, jamming the throttle or causing no throttle ( maybe the better of the 2 options)
