I agree 24k and won't splurge for probably the most important upgrade that there is on a bike? Even the Rushmore Project states that they improved the ride two fold.

I keep hearing that the Progressive is not much better than a stock HD shock. So the 400 that you spend may end up being more expensive in the long run.

On my 2013 FLHP, with all the police stuff removed from the rear end of the bike, I have just finally tried the 130/90 springs (PN: 03-1367C) on my 412's. The ride is finally nice. Heavy storms just rolled into DC, so my test ride was abbreviated, but I aimed for every man hole cover and rough patch of tarmac and I can say it rides pretty good now. I weigh 185#. FWIW, this is the rate that progressive recommended to me...

Stock shocks with the correct air pressure ride great.. I Put the Progressive 412's on and went back to stock in 3 months. The formula for stock shocks is 1 pound of psi for very 10 pounds. example if you weigh 200 pounds with gear then you should have 20 psi in shocks, if you weigh 250 with gear then you should have 25 psi, etc.......

Just my opinion!!!!

Dropping $24k on a bike that you don't test ride and confirm you are happy with it...THAT doesn't make sense to me.
