A week and change ago a cage took me out on my Road King (2001). Looks like insurance is going to total the bike but I will be restoring it. About the only one side part I think will need is right side riders floorboard bracket. Any help with the part number would be greatly appreciated!!!
Like my sig says, this bike will never leave me. WAY too much invested.... I even have a 95" kit I was about to put on.
I normally go to my local HD dealer...the counter man is real nice, i tell him what i need and he takes the manual out we look, i order.....or maybe take the part number down and think about it after he tells me the price.
What exactly are you looking for?
When I went down on the left side (when I became "Road Rash" in the club), I took the bux from the insurance, did the wrenching myself, and replaced all of BOTH side parts with better stuff, like visors for the lights and a Memphis shades windshield, etc. and for the same money, have people now either give kudos or take pics of the bike. $2k worth of parts, and I have a totally custom Hog-used-to-be Heritage. And it was fun!~
