I've got an opportunity to get some Oakley gear, pretty much anything they make. I've already picked out a few pair of sunglasses and some goggles. I know they don't make stuff specifically for riders, but is there anything that they make that I should look into that would serve as good riding gear?
I have connections for big discounts. I have a couple pairs of flak jackets XLJ and a half jacket because thats the only way to get a clear lens. I also got a few different lenses like polorized black Iridium for desert type riding, a yellow, clear and that orange looking one that works good in cloudy conditions.
I prefer the glasses without the frames like the gascans, it impedes my perefial vision for my tastes
I have about four pairs of Gas Cans, and a couple pairs of Fuel Cells. Security contractor required gear Plus a pair of black hard knuckle gloves and a pair of desert tan hard knuckles. I use the shades and the black hard knuckle gloves all the time.
I wear Oakelys with with a beanie, 3/4 lid, no helmet and sometimes with my modular lid.
I have the Fuel Cells, Style Switch and Eye Patch collection. My all time favorite is the Eye Patch.
Personally, I like a larger lens that covers my old eyeballs. The nice thing about Oakelys, is that once you find the right frame for your face. You can get replacement lens pretty easy.
Also, although they no longer make my Eye Patch series, I was able to get 4 different sets of replacement lens from amazon for a whopping $120.00.
