Default Fairing shake

My fairing has had more shake than I thought it should, but hey, it's a 103 a with cams. Last week me and the ol did a 1.5k trip through North GA and North Carolina and I swear, it was worse. So when I got home I ripped off the outer fairing, and sure enough, 2 broken fairing brackets on the right side. Nothing some quick fab and a mig couldn't fix, but judging from the lack of movement I have now, they must have been broken for a long time.

Unfortunately, its a common problem. Be sure to check the other side as well.

The other side seemed fine, but I was surprised. I expected both sides to be broken. A Google search revealed lots of good fixes. Hopefully I'll be good for a while...

Seems to be a common thing. I've had several broken brackets over the years with baggers.

The bracket next to the speaker was broke on mine.
I bought two new brackets as they are better built.
Next time under the fairing, I might add the Strong Arm Support by Alloy Art.
I bought the kit from www.jpcycles.com PN 724-394 but after reading the directions, it might be handy to have a second set of hands. Might be a winter project as everything is fine now.

I did the same, mig welded some extra brackets and it has been fine for 40,000 Kim's
Looks like the kit on eBay is great for some one with out a welder,
