I've noticed the same thing when backing the bike in after running around. Also does it going forward while pushing it out of garage. I talked to dealer, of course they said it was normal, they will check it out next week when the 1K service is done.
Yeah mine has done that since I brought it home, it's nothing.
My 09 Street Glide did it and my 12 RKC does it too. It's the front brake pads shifting in the caliper slightly according to a tech at my dealer. I only feel it with the front brake lever applied and almost stopped. I had the SG for 3 years and no issues with the brakes just that little clunk.
My 2012 Limited started that in Gettysburg, Pa. Didn't want to ride the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Dragon with it like that. The dealer there took it in, adjusted the steering head bearings and wala, no more clunk. Great dealer and he knew just what to do. In and out in about 1 1/2 hours.
Contrary to what others have said, I don't think it's normal.

Bill, I agree that it's not normal. The dealer called today and said the bike is ready. Obviously I asked what it turned out to be. He said the tech went over it yesterday and today putting about 4 hours into it and couldn't find anything wrong with it. He said the tech then decided to take two more new Limiteds out for rides and see if they did the same thing. Manager said that the other two bikes did the same thing. So between them talking to HD Tech Services and riding two others, they deemed that nothing is wrong with the bike. Let me remind you that after he took my bike for the second ride yesterday he pulled it right into the shop and said something isn't right. Now today he says, must be normal... WTF??

By he way, a friend of mine has a 2014 Limited and it "don't do that".
Bill, I don't believe one can compare the 2014 models with the earlier ones...totally different with the new redesigned trees and the neck bearings changing numbers as well...what your suggesting is plausible but not apples to apples...in this case we have a orange in the mix...
I think it is because of the floating rotors. I recently installed HD Road Winder wheels on my bike. Same design rotors with no center carriers. I'm having a clunk when appyling the front brakes. The noise is the rotors floating.
