Default Fuelmoto Package?

Anyone buy the Rush slip ons PC III USB combo from Fuelmoto? Someone posted the price and wasn't too bad as I remember, but I have concerns with the Rush slips. Not looking for major sound (07 EGC and paid for radio, might as well be able to hear it!!) So been thinking about this combo, or "something else" with the Zipper Thundermax w/auto tune.

Default RE: Fuelmoto Package?

I'm planning to install Rush 1.75", PCIII, and K&N combo from FuelMoto on my new '07 EG Classic next Thursday. I know that doesn't help you much right now, but if you wait a week I'll have a complete review for you. Haven't seen the bill yet for the parts so I don't have an exact figure for you. I wanted deep sound and not too loud (but definitely Harley sound). Apparently Rush 1.75" fit the bill for this. I'll let you know...

Installed a PCIII, K&N and Supertrapp SEs from Fuelmoto. Mid-range mellow rumble, much more power, can't believe the performance, no rattling or lugging anymore.

I bought the PCIII/Rush 1.75 combo pakackage and couldn't be happier. The bike runs great and the Rush pipes bark when you crack the throttle, but yet mild on the open road so you can still hear you favorite tunes. Fuelmoto has been great with any questions and service.

Thanks for the input guys. Haven't read or hear too much about the Rush mufflers, so Grinner,a post of impressions is welcomed.

Regarding the Supertrapps, isn't there alot of playing around with disks and such? I don't mind playing around a little, but changing disks for sound and/or performance would also need some mapping changes on the PC?? Had PC IIIr on my 02 RK and I gotta tell ya, when it went wrong, it really went wrong and remapping was a PITA... Me no good at 'puters, EFI n' such (miss the carbs!!)

Out of the box I am happy with the quality of the Rush ,they look to be well made , the chrome looks awesome , and they where very simple to install. Sound is very subjective , for me the 2.00 baffles is just right ,good rumble at idle , deep and throaty going through the gears and will bark when cracking the throttle or in a hard pull.Cruising around country roads or going down the freeway at 70+ I would see no problem at hearing a radio if you have one. The whole package was very easy to install if you have all the right tools and everything ran great right out of the box. Just my 2 cents!!!

I bought the Rush 1.75", K&N, and PCIII from FM back in November, and I'm very happy with the result. The bike ('07 SG) runs great and the noise is moderate, quiet enough to hear the stereo clearly. The Rush slip-ons provide a deep rumble at idle and while cruising, but bark upon acceleration.

I don't think I would change anything with this setup, although I wouldn't mind trying the 1.5" baffle to see if there is a performance or noise difference. As it is, the engine produces excellent low-end and mid-range toque, and it revs to the 6200-RPM redline more effortlessly than I thought it would. Except for city gas mileage (mid-30's), I couldn't be happier with this setup. Highway mileage is not bad, around 46-48mpg, after tweaking the cruise range of the PCIII map provided by FM. When purchased, I requested that Jamie tweak the map for mileage, and I've leaned it much more in the cruise range without overheating, surging, or detonation.
