While removing the plastic female wire connector from the oil pan mounted sending unit, the tab broke off which means the connector will not secure to the male end.
Anyone know if the connector and wiring can be bought separate (cut & splice) or maybe someone has one laying around collecting dust that they would part with for a few bucks....
Oh, I have to remove it each time I change my oil since I use the Scavenger Oil Change System...
I don't have a connector for you. I'm sure if you get one you will be able to cut and splice, but in the mean time try using some RTV. Apply some generously to both sides, let it dry, and you should be good to go for more than a few miles...
there are a lot of sources for electrical connectors, cheap, but you have to identify it first, that's the hard part. If its just the locking tab broke off you could secure the connector to the mating sending unit with a piece of heat shrink, fairly permanent solution and easy enough to cut off if you need to.

Just an idea.
Why didn't I think of that.....hopefully it will release when I need to remove it next time..
