Got beach cruisers on mine. Had to change brake line though to a longer cable set. Decided to put all braided lines anyway so it wasn't a huge deal to me.

I am considering the Burly bars by kuryakyn. Does anyone have them? How do you like them?

The picture of my bike in my sig is with Burly Bikini Beach bars, but I have since switched to the Wild 1 518's. I haven't tried Burly's Road King bar, but the quality of their stuff is very good.

BTW, Kuryakyn doesn't make those, just carry them in their catalogue, so if you shop around, you may get them even cheaper.

The Wild One 508's have about 4 inches more pullback than stock and really sit you up straight - took some getting used to, but now I really like them. Although the Wild One site says that you can use stock cables, they don't recommend it. I have +2 inch throttle, cable, and brake lines and stock length clutch cable. The wiring harness on my '07 had to be lengthened about 2 inches to reach the controls.

It's not cheap (about $800 including labor and HD Diamondback braided cables) - but a great look!

ORIGINAL: 47Norton

Just put a set of RK Custom Bars on my Classic. I really like the feel. Was able to use all my original cables and brake lines, too. Sorry, I don't even have a picture yet.
I did the same on my 07 RKC. I like the RK custom bars on it a lot, way more comfortable for me no more reaching or discomfort.

Take Care All,
Bill G

O.k. Thanks for the ideas. I know a guy that might have a set of bars off a Heritage layin around, so I'm gonna give him a call later. I'll pop those on and see how it is. I cant seem to adjust those stock bars into any position that feels comfortable. Now, if I had arms long enough to drag my knuckles when I walk, I'd probly love the stockers!!
And I never thought I'd have to take out the headlight to adjust the bars on a bike! Unless there's another way to get that fancy chrome cover off I'm not seeing...
