Default Re-route Clutch cable? SG/EG/UG

Any of you guys ever buya longer clutch cable and route it up the right side of the bike into the fairing then around to the left side from inside the fairing?
It just looks weird that the cable starts life on the right coming out of the tranny then moves across the down tubes and then up into the left side of the fairing.

Before you think I'm all **** and stuff, I just changed my bars and now the clutch cable a little too short...I have to buy a new one and was just wondering.

Maybe a 8 or 10 over would do it?

Thanks ya'll

You can use the stock clutch cable if you pull it out of the fairing and run it up along the handle bars. I put 2" reach bars on and did this it looks fine and works well.

I got bars that were 2" longer as well... the pull back touring bars or something.
I actually re-routed the cable through the fairing still and it works but tight.
Anyway, wanted to stay with coming out the fairing hole so I may just try to get a real long one and try as I stated earlier..

Thanks for the reply...

So did I, 2" reach, cable has to be re routed in the farring behind the braket it rest on, and the tie straps on the frame...

How do you like the Reach bars on the SG? Do they turn your hands in a lot more than the stockers? I'm looking to make that change but I don't want to feel like I'm driving a wheelbarrow. Also, are they the same as the "pullback touring" bars?

The reach bars are very confortable, and they bring your hands in about 2".. but the change is natural...

So it's 2" taller and turned in 2".. just right to keep you from leaning forward...
