codes p0505 and U1016
I am on the road all week and only get home for some or all of the weekend, which is when everybody else is not open so I am looking to y'all for some help here.
I just had a 107 build done on my bike and to say that I am highly pi$$ed off with the builder would be a huge understatement. It's a long, ugly story. I was barely able to ride it home and park it. But, what's done is done at this point and I have to move on. I can assure you that I will <b>NOT</b> be taking it back to him to fix.
Anyway....bike is idling rough and very low (6-700 rpm). If I blip the throttle it will hang at about 1800 rpm then quickly drop down to the 6-700 mark and bounce around from there to about 1000 rpm. It wall also stall when it can't keep up at the low idle. It's throwing both of the codes listed in the title (p0505 and U1016) and I've tried searching but can only find causes and/or solutions for non-EFI bikes.
What's going on?? Could it be that there is something wrong with the build? (it really wouldn't surprise me at this point) If so, what? Perhaps cams off by one tooth? Could it be something is not plugged in properly?
I got the base tune from Fuel Moto so I'm fairly certain that it's pretty close so for mow I am not looking at that as a possible problem.
Any ideas on what to check/do would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise it's back on the road on Monday and it will be next weekend before I can continue the madness.

Check your battery cables for tightness, and any and all grounds are properly secured. My old Dyna was throwing the U1016 code, and that's what it was. Not saying that's YOUR issue, but you never know. Good luck.

I know this is old but .....
Im having 3 codes pop u1016 / p0605 & U1301 rides great ( 03 road king ) then out of no where the motor powers down as thow its on 1 cylinder the check engine only stays on while this is happening if I stay on the throttle it will limp along then go back to normal if I let go of throttle it dies ! Ive replaced CPK / TPS / MAP & IAC sensors I am running power vision with autotune and cant figure this out ! I get the same 3 codes to show on power vision but not in diag mode ! Im at my wits end twice now the issue has stopped happening I put some miles on the bike then it just hits without warning ! I was thinking possibly the magnum braided spark plug wires but that didnt make sense I just dont know
