Hi, I just got a RK standard, and I looked at a classic in that combo. It's actually my favorite retro combo, but I wished the burgundy was darker. Kinda looked like it had a pinkish tint to me in the full sunlight.
The standard isn't available in that combo, so I went for the red on pearl black combo.
The cobalt/silver is sharp, too.
I too have the Red over black 07 RKC. The Burgandy looked more like a shade of purple in the direct sunlight. I had the dealer roll the bike out because I was set on that Burgandy/Creame combo, but.. once I saw it outside, no deal. I told him.. yeah. .thats ugly as hell. Too purple!
Purple sky over desert sand? How's that unattractive in the "Touring forum"? I suppose blue lake and sandy beach doesn't appeal to those either? Green woods and fresh blacktop? C'mon RKC people! Change my mind to thinking different from the only "touring" are pub crawls and wavin' at your neighbors in the subdivision while they're washin their Benzes!!!
I love this color combo. I just started a thread on it a few days ago, check out the replies. Some people didn't like how the burgundy changed in the sunlight.
